Our training programmes are nothing like your school classes!

I think many people have a trauma left over from learning English at school and want to make sure our method is nothing like their English lessons in secondary school.

Don’t worry, I promise our training programmes are all stress-free, fun and effective! Here’s what we do:

  1. We offer different professional English programmes:
    – Individual usually between 20 and 35 hours. If you are using your CPF budget, you’ll have a certification as part of your training.
    – Small group fluency classes, with a maximum of 4 people, to work on your spoken English in a fun and friendly setting. You can also do a combination of individual and group classes.
    – Small group international business communication workshops, either inter- or intra-enterprise and usually over 2 days, to work on specific situations such as public speaking, conference calls, confident communication or working in international teams. Inter-entreprise sessions are at our premises in Grasse, intra-enterprise can also be at our premises or on your site.
  2. All our programmes can be done online as well as face-to-face. Our online training programmes are conceived to be delivered online. We use different tools to create the best learning experience. Right now we love Flipgrid, Kahoot, Klaxoon, Wordwall and Quizlet. We use Zoom or Teams, depending on what is best for you.
  3. Our individual training programmes are 100% tailor made to your own professional, personal and linguistic needs. The trainer will do a full needs analysis at the beginning and from there create your personalised programme. There won’t be grammar exercises to do unless you ask for them! We find that most people need speaking practice so our programmes are usually based around speaking.
  4. We integrate goal-setting and revision sessions into your individual training programmes so that you learn better.
  5. We use different tools to keep track of your vocabulary so you can revise it at home as well as during class. We especially like Quizlet.com.
  6. If you wish, you can have an e-learning part to your programme. We like Gymglish, for 15 minutes of English per day that adapts to your level, and English Attack, a great way to practise listening comprehension through film clips. It’s your choice to add e-learning to your programme: think about if you will actually have the time to do it before you decide.
  7. Our group training courses already have a programme, but they are still personalised to the participants. We send a questionnaire to everyone before the course to make sure the objectives are aligned with participants’ objectives.
  8. We constantly update our group training programmes to take into account new ideas and research.
  9. At the end of your individual or group programme, you’ll receive a personalised report detailing your strong points and what you need to work on.
  10. Our trainers are all anglophones, certified in TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) and with a business background. We have former marketing, HR and finance professionals who are now working as trainers for Aygen Training.
  11. We believe that professional development is vital, not just for you, but also for our trainers. We are members of TESOL France, which keeps us up to date with the latest research into language training and the most recent pedagogical methods.
  12. Your lessons and your work fit in with your schedule. We try to accommodate your requests for class times as much as possible. You are not obliged to do homework (but of course it can help you to progress quickly.)
